Νάντια Ανδρεανίδου

Nadia Andreanidou is a Forester, Environmentalist and holds an MSc in Energy Systems and Building Design. She is a dedicated sustainable development scientist with expertise in marine life, climate, and ecology. She works for MEDASSET (the Mediterranean Association to Save the Sea Turtles), where she coordinates conservation and research programs and campaigns focused on sea turtle populations and the protection of marine and coastal biodiversity. Alongside her scientific and environmental work, Nadia has a strong background in photography, film and the performing arts. As a photographer, she has participated in more than 15 photography exhibitions, both as an artist and as a producer, developing a long-standing interest in visual storytelling and the relationship between art, people and the environment. She also has experience in film production through her involvement with MEDASSET, having worked on the production of short- and feature-length documentaries. Her creative practice extends to writing and dance. She has attended seminars in creative writing and screenwriting and has recently completed her first short-film screenplay. She has also been practicing Contemporary, Classical and Contact Improvisation dance for many years, exploring movement, physical expression and embodied storytelling. Nadia is particularly interested in the intersection of environmental science, visual arts, film, movement and storytelling. Through her work and creative practice, she seeks to contribute to projects that explore the mutual dependence of creative industries, science and the environment, while fostering creativity, resilience and social prosperity.

Χορός / Κίνηση Πολυετής ενασχόληση με τον Κλασικό και Σύγχρονο Χορό, καθώς και με το Contact Improvisation, με ιδιαίτερο ενδιαφέρον για τη σωματικότητα, την κίνηση και τη σχέση σώματος και χώρου.
