In her new solo exhibition, the artist Mari Eliadi invites us on a journey between matter and immateriality, on the border of the earth and the universe, where light, water, color and texture coexist, like poetry with mystery, the material with the invisible, the "here", the natural and familiar earthly, with the "beyond", the mysterious and unexplored universe.

The artist, with a long career in the field of painting and a deep connection with art as a means of healing and self-knowledge, takes us on a journey of art where nature, silence and the soul coexist, positively influencing our emotional world but also creatively at the same time.

The artist metaphorically depicts a situation where reality and imagination meet, or where two different alternatives are deposited at a point that is between the two different realities.

The visual approach is given full of color, purity and sensitivity, marrying the strong Greek identity with the global one.

Through small and large paintings, with techniques that include acrylics, pressed paper, embossed surfaces, gold leaf, liquid glass, crystals, metals, shells and other elements of nature, the artist approaches form, shape, with particular sensitivity and intense color power.

Boats, flowers, birds and donkeys coexist with planets, galaxies and inner worlds, in a harmonious dialogue between the earthly and the universal.

The exhibition is under the auspices of the Greek Group for UNESCO of Arts, Letters and Sciences.
